EOS Imaging Gets South Korean Marketing Approval

Paris, France-based EOS Imaging has been expanding its foothold in Asia slowly over the past year, introducing its products in Vietnam earlier this month, earning marketing approval in Taiwan this past summer, and in Japan this past spring. Now, the 2-D/3-D orthopedic imaging company has gained marketing approval in South Korea.

The Korea Food and Drug Administration approval will enable the company to continue expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific medical imaging market, which is predicted to see the highest growth globally during the next 5 years.

To develop the Korean market, EOS has established a distribution partnership with DK Medical Solutions (DKMS), a company established in 1986 and specialized in the import and sales of high end medical equipment, in particular imaging equipment.
